Tennis draw

The four county schools both drew matches on the opening day of the IHSAA Mt. Vernon sectional tournament.

Host Mt. Vernon and county champ New Palestine will face off Thursday in one semifinal match, while Greenfield-Central will meet Eastern Hancock in the other semifinal.

The championship match is at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The winner goes on to play the Lawrence North sectional champ (LN, LC, WC, Arlington, Heritage Christian) at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the North Central regional.
