Heat causes events to be moved

In the interests of safety, the start times for several New Palestine events have been changed due to today's forecast for extreme heat.

The Dragons' home cross country meet against Rushville and Beech Grove has been moved to 6 p.m. from its originally-scheduled 5 p.m. start.

The Dragons' home boys soccer game against Guerin Catholic has been moved back one hour. The JV game will now start at 6 p.m. and the varsity game to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m.

NP's boys tennis match against Shelbyville will be played at 7 p.m. It was originally scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Unaffected by the weather, but also slightly changing is tonight's volleyball calendar. Join Chris Lambert for the New Palestine vs. Greenfield-Central volleyball match at approximately 7 p.m. from the NPHS main gym.
