All four Hancock County schools had season finale girls basketball games scheduled Thursday.
All four will likely be canceled after school was called in all four districts for Thursday. It would affect New Palestine @ Plainfield, Shenandoah @ Mt. Vernon, Triton Central @ Eastern Hancock and Greenfield-Central @ Greenwood.
Everything is on for Friday as of now, although our broadcast time will shift briefly. We will still broadcast New Palestine vs. Shelbyville boys, but will probably go on the air at approximately 7:30 p.m. instead of the previously-advertised 7:10 p.m., as Shelby's girls team will play Franklin at 6 p.m. prior to the tipoff of the boys game. We will go on when the girls game ends.
Also Friday, Greenfield-Central hosts Delta and Eastern Hancock hosts Tri. Mt. Vernon is off until Saturday, when it will face Warren Central on the road. NP (at Mooresville) and G-C (vs. Greenwood) also have Saturday's games.
