Play in all of the local girls hoops sectionals begins Tuesday night. New Palestine will begin things at Hamilton Heights against Shelbyville. Tipoff is 7 p.m.

Eastern Hancock opens at 6 p.m. Wednesday vs. Knightstown. That game will be at Centerville. Mt. Vernon and Greenfield-Central open Friday.
In all sectionals, the semis will be Friday, Feb. 11 at 6/7:30 p.m., the finals will be Saturday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
