Congrats, Marauders

Mt. Vernon outscores Hamilton Heights 25-9 in the fourth quarter to post a 77-69 victory over the Huskies.

MV trailed for much of the middle two quarters before a 3 from Jessica Brown and a back-to-back baskets by Erica Moore put MV up 71-69. Brown then hit six free throws in the final 90 seconds to seal the outcome.

Moore had 19 points, Brown had 17 -- including 13 after halftime -- Rachel Houck 15 and Kayla Negley 14 points. Hamilton Heights was led by Diane Silberberg's 21 points, while the Marauders held HH's Div. I duo of Jessica Carr and Libby Ogden to 14 and 10 points, respectively.

The Marauders, now 20-1, move on to regional play next Saturday at home.
