Regional sites announced

The IHSAA announced its 16 regional sites this morning for boys and girls basketball.

Greenfield-Central's Class 4A sectional includes Anderson, Connersville, New Castle, Pendleton Heights and Richmond. Boys basketball sectional will be at New Castle, the regional at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Girls basketball sectional will be at G-C, regional at Decatur Central.
New Palestine's Class 4A sectional includes Center Grove, Franklin, Franklin Central, Greenwood and Whiteland. Boys basketball sectional will be at Center Grove, regional at Shelbyville. Girls basketball sectional will be at Franklin Central, regional at Bedford North Lawrence.
Mt. Vernon's Class 3A sectional includes Arlington, Brebeuf, Chatard, Guerin Catholic and Howe. Boys basketball sectional will be at MV, regional at Greencastle. Girls basketball sectional will be at Arlington, regional at Danville. For the first time since the four-team regionals began in 2002, MV will not be hosting a girls basketball regional.
Eastern Hancock's Class 2A sectional includes Cambridge City Lincoln, Centerville, Hagerstown, Knightstown, Northeastern and Union County. Boys basketball sectional will be at Hagerstown, regional at Connersville. Girls basketball sectional will be at Cambridge City Lincoln, regional at Speedway.

In additional, all four county schools will again swim in the New Palestine sectional and wrestle in the Shelbyville sectional. NP will again host its gymnastics sectional.
