Hoops coming up

It's a full night of girls hoops tonight in the county, as three of the four county schools will be in action.

Join us LIVE for 3A No. 1 Mt. Vernon vs. 3A No. 8 Rushville. Two teams that came into the year with top-10 rankings and two teams who will be major contenders in the Hoosier Heritage Conference square off in the Marauders' home opener. MV is 1-1, Rushville is 0-2, both against some pretty strong foes to start the year.

Also Friday, get updates as New Palestine visits 4A No. 6 Warren Central, and Greenfield-Central travels to HHC rival Pendleton Heights. Eastern Hancock is the one team that will be gearing up for Saturday action, as the Royals host Horizon Christian at 7 p.m.

Next week, our boys basketball broadcast schedule begins Wednesday with the annual Thanksgiving Eve game between Centerville and Eastern Hancock. We'll be with you live at 7:10 p.m. Saturday night, you can VOTE for the game you want us to broadcast -- EH at Frankton, G-C at Fishers, MV at Hamilton Heights or NP at New Castle. We'll broadcast the game with the most votes by 11:59 p.m. Saturday night.
