Greenfield-Central's softball team fell to Connersville 11-4 Thursday afternoon. Connersville scored eight runs in the fifth to break a 3-3 tie. Ashley Brunk and Tori Cuebas had two hits and two RBI each to lead the Cougars.
In boys track, Greenfield-Central won a 3-way meet at Shelbyville, scoring 84 points to Shelby's 51 and New Palestine's 32. New Palestine was led by Seth Eagleson (3200) and Steve Selke (800), who were event winners. G-C's individual info and the info from the girls meet is currently unavailable.
