The Marauders posted a 50-23 victory over New Castle. MV jumped ahead to a big lead early and never looked back in cruising to its 15th victory of the year. The second-ranked Marauders are now 15-3 heading into Friday's game at G-C.
The Cougars rolled to a 54-34 victory over Muncie Central. Sara Jones had 15 points and LaRae Cruz 10 for the Cougars, with Katie Peters adding eight. G-C is now 11-5 on the year. The Cougars had a 19-2 lead after a quarter and a 31-11 edge at halftime in the victory.
Swimming
Greenfield-Central's swim teams split a decision with Lawrence Central on Tuesday night. The HHC champion Cougar boys won big, 126-59. The G-C girls fell to LC 92-91 in a close meet.
