Cougars beat Knightstown


Greenfield-Central's girls basketball team scored 21 fourth-quarter points to pull away from Knightstown and win 48-35 in the Cougars' annual "Pink Game" to fight breast cancer.

G-C led 10-8 after a quarter, 20-15 at the half and 27-20 after three before pulling away in the final eight minutes. LaRae Cruz scored 15 points to lead the Cougars. Junior Katie Peters added 10. Emily Koers and Regan Lewis both scored seven each.

The Cougars (10-5) are next in action Tuesday at home against Muncie Central.
