Wednesday hoops

New Palestine's boys beat Beech Grove 67-64 Wednesday in front of a nice crowd at NPHS. Reid Clark had a big first half and led the Dragons with 20. NP led most of the game, but the Hornets -- coached by Greenfield-Central alum Matt English -- rallied late to give itself a chance to tie or win. NP had three players in double-figures -- Clark, Michael Morris (13) and Josh Penley (10).
