Saturday morning QB: Sectional championships

Sectional 13: Pendleton Heights 14, Greenfield-Central 0
We've already covered -- and broadcast -- this one, but Pendleton Heights celebrates its first sectional title on the back of 208 total yards and two TDs from Dezmon Nunn. Arabians move on to host Cathedral in the regional next week. Lots of media coverage of this one for reaction.

Sectional 12: New Haven 28, Delta 7
New Haven RB Te'Vaughn Hurse put up some enormous numbers this season. Delta found out why, as Hurse ran for 200+ yards and all four New Haven scores to end Delta's 10-game winning streak and claim the sectional title. Austin Fuatavai scored the lone TD for Delta, which finishes the year 11-2.

We had an enjoyable football season. We'll continue to follow the remaining HHC team -- Pendleton Heights -- on SMQB each week. Keep posted to CCSN and Hancock County Sports.com for basketball coverage, starting with boys and girls games between Mt. Vernon and Hamilton Heights on Nov. 27.
