The Dragon gymnasts beat Tri 98.675-38.375 Wednesday at NPE.
The Dragons won all four events, with Kenzi Hoffman winning
the vault (8.6), balance beam (9.35) and floor exercise (8.85) and
placing second on uneven bars (8.025). She naturally took the all-around
competition (34.825).
Jessica Marshall was second in all-around (32.025), with a
second-place finish on balance beam (8.825) and floor (7.9). Whitney
Weileman was third in all-around (31.1), including a victory on uneven
bars (8.4). She was second on vault (8.55) and third on balance beam
(6.775).
NP swept the top six places in the vault. Also placing in the
top three for NP were Julie Hilton (3rd, vault 8.35), Shelly Huesman
(3rd, bars, 7.675) and Ciarra Hough (3rd, floor, 7.375).
The Dragons visit Morristown Thursday for a 3-way meet with Richmond.
