The Marauders move to 2-0 on the year and in the HHC Thursday. Sophomore Kyle Cansler scored MV's lone goal. Nathan Livengood had his second straight shutout in goal for MV.

Girls cross country: New Palestine 22, Pendleton Heights 45, Shelbyville inc.
Seniors Courtney Edon and Caitlynn Edon finished 1-2 for the Dragons in a season-opening three-way meet victory Thursday. Courtney won with a time of 21:24, while Caitlynn came home in 22:01. Emily Trimpe (4th), Lauren Sams (6th) and Kayla Meadaris (9th) also scored for NP.

PH took the first four positions to win the race. Austin Dodd (5th, 18:32) led the Dragons.
