Eastern Hancock's girls dropped their sectional opener to neighboring Knightstown 48-28 Wednesday night at Centerville.
The Royals finish the year 3-17.
Mt. Vernon and Greenfield-Central drew byes. MV will play Rushville at 6 p.m. Friday at Hamilton Heights in Class 3A. G-C will play Anderson at 6 p.m. Friday at the Muncie Fieldhouse.
